OBJECTIVE

Irradia believes that privacy is a fundamental right for everyone who has contact with us. Everyone should be able to feel safe when they entrust us with their personal data.

That is why we at Irradia have established this policy. It is based on current data protection legislation (data protection regulation - General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swedish Supplementary Data Protection Act) and clarifies how we work to safeguard the rights and integrity of our customers.

The purpose of this policy is for you as an interested party / customer to know how we process personal data, what it is used for, who may access it and under what conditions.

PURPOSE

Irradia processes personal data primarily to fulfill obligations towards our customers. Our starting point is not to process any more personal data than is necessary for the purpose of the processing, and we always strive to use the least privacy-sensitive data.

Personal data is needed to provide our customers with good service, for example what applies to physical service of equipment, marketing, follow-up, customer satisfaction measurements and information. We may also need personal data to comply with laws as well as perform customer and market analyzes (primarily for our CER, Clinical Evaluation Report).

WHICH PERSONAL DATA IRRADIA PROCESSES AND WHAT ARE THE LEGAL GROUND?

Irradia only processes personal data when there is a legal basis. The legal grounds are to fulfill an agreement, legal obligation and legitimate interest (balancing of interests). In some cases, we process personal data for marketing purposes and the legal basis in those cases is legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest consists in the fact that the processing is necessary for us to carry out, fulfill and administer our business and safeguard the interests and legal claims of our customers. We also have a legitimate interest in sending marketing and offers about our business as such information may be of interest to data subjects or companies or other legal entities and that the privacy risk for the individual is considered very small.

  • Information that Irradia receives when customers engage one of our employees
  • Information that Irradia receives when customers register for our courses or seminars

IS PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED IN A REASSURING WAY?

Irradia has developed routines and methods of handling personal data in a safe way. The starting point is that only employees and other people within the organization that needs the personal data to perform its duties must have access to them.

Our security systems are developed with integrity in focus and protect at a very high level against intrusion, destruction and other changes that may pose a risk to your privacy.

WHEN DOES IRRADIA RELEASE PERSONAL DATA?

Irradia never discloses personal data to third parties, other than when required according to law (e.g. when an authority requests information from us).

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to request information from Irradia about the use of your personal data free of charge. You also have the right to receive a copy of this information.

We will, at your request or on our own initiative, correct or delete information that is inaccurate or limit the processing of such data.

You have the right to object to processing of your data that takes place with the legal the basis that we have a legitimate interest.

You also have the right to limit the processing, e.g. if you believe the data is not correct.

In some cases, you also have the right to access your personal data in a machine-readable format or, if technically possible, to have the data transferred to a third party as you direct.

You also have the right to request that your data is not processed for direct marketing purposes.
